Our share price is $395 for 14-16 weeks of fresh vegetables. Sign up now!

We specialize in a unique, smaller share size, more like a 2/3 share with an all you can eat salad mix. You get that great fresh CSA experience without being run over by too many vegetables. It is designed to work better for smaller households. The share feeds two adults and two children quite comfortably. It may also work well for many folks trying CSA for the first time who are just learning how to handle a box of fresh vegetables every week.
The share is packed in a 1/2 bushel box that easily fits into an average refrigerator. We keep variety diverse by focusing in on smaller gourmet and heirloom type varieties. So for instance, we don’t grow traditional 6lb cabbages, we grow 2lb European mini cabbages. Instead of large Italian eggplants we grow the skinnier, longer Japanese eggplants, instead of large red peppers we grow an heirloom Italian fry pepper for our red pepper. And so on through the garden plan. The end result is a box with just as much variety and interest, but has 30% less weight. If you’re a “foodie” type looking for a great food experience this is a share to try!
Included in the share is a kind of a “free range” salad and herb bar. This system is very popular with members. Salad mix, spinach and assorted herbs are harvested early on the morning of delivery and packed into cool moist wooden baskets. These baskets are then placed out at the delivery site and members help themselves. Bio degradable plastic bags are provided on site. There’s enough flex built into the system that people can take more one week and less the next without adversely affecting the whole. This really gives members great portion control and flexibility. If you do happen to need an extra large amount some week for a gathering of some type or company, call the farm, there’s almost always extra salad mix in the field.
Currently, we accept checks in the mail, cash too for that matter, but no children, unless they want to pull weeds. We will make special accommodations for those who need a payment plan. Just call the farm…
